I've heard a lot about this natural procedure but never quite tried it on myself yet. I wonder if it'll take my 4BZ a notch lower to a 3c or 4A even. I'm also worried about build-up because all of that stuff is sooo fatty & thick, yikes...
I've heard great things about this. I have heard sometimes it takes a second or 3rd try before you start to see the curls loosen up some.
To combat any build up, I would gently massage my scalp and hair with shampoo or diluated shampoo. That should do the trick.
If it doesn't loosen your curls, at least you now know of a great deep moisturizing treatment!
This doesn't change your curl pattern if you are a 4B you're gonna stay a 4B. This might loosen up your curl but dont count on it.
If your a type 4 or have very coarse hair sour cream and lemon might work better. This would be good to help tame ssk or look like you had a cellophane rinse. I might try this to at least seal up my cuticles (I'm texlaxed).
