Whipped Shea Cream Recipe

I made some more of my whipped shea cream for my body and used only 3 oils and different ratios for some of the ingredients with this batch. So here’s the recipe I created this time.

MY LATEST WHIPPED SHEA CREAM RECIPE:
16 oz Shea butter
½ Cup Castor oil
¼ Cup EVOO
¼ Cup Coconut oil
½-1 Cup Aloe vera gel
2 Tsp Honey
20 drops Peppermint essential oil

How To:
Gently warm up shea butter in a pot with some water in it on the stove. (If you make the water very hot you will make your shea butter grainy) Once warm, transfer shea butter to a large mixing bowl and whip to a smooth consistency. Add oils and honey and whip again to mix them in. Gradually pour in aloe vera gel and continue to whip. Add whatever essential oils you like and whip till a frosting like consistency is achieved. Enjoy!

Tips:
I used more castor oil this time b/c it’s winter and the air is dryer so with castor oil being a great sealant I figured would be great for locking in more moisture this time of year.

When I whipped mine, I used a hand mixer but you can use a stationary mixer as well.

Try to store in the fridge when you’re not using. It will last you even longer.

This recipe will make you a lot of cream!

If your cream feels too greasy, simply add more aloe vera gel or shea butter till you achieve a consistency you like.

Do play around with different oils, ingredients, and ratios till you discover a batch that is your crack. LOL. I’m still playing around but this one is my best one yet for the cold months. I used more aloe vera gel this time so not only is more moisturizing but it’s less greasy too. My next batch is getting some coconut cream thrown up in the mix! Try, tweek if you like, share, and enjoy!

I wish I could use it on my head but it's too heavy. :0( I would have to use less shea butter for my hair to absorb it.

The brand aloe vera gel I use is JASON Aloe Vera 98% Moisturizing Gel. I get the 16oz bottle from the Vitamin Shoppe.

LOL at your mom. That's a good idea to put it in a big butter container though!

Really? Wow, you gotta keep me posted on that. I'm over about to buy some hair milk but if I can make my own, I'm on it. Yeah, let me know how it comes out with the aloe vera juice. I have a ton of it too. I just keep it in the freezer when I'm not using it to preserve it.

I'll c about unmoderating. It used to be that way then I had some weirdos on here for a while posting crazy stuff! I'm not making any promises though. Hahaha.
