Green Cleaning: Dr. Bronners Magic Soap

This soap really is "magic". I just used this to wipe down my counters, cabinets, sinks, appliances, shower (put in a spray bottle), and mop the bathroom floor with. Everything that I cleaned with it is SPARKLING (!) and b/c I got the rose scented one, "smells like roses".

For light to moderate cleaning jobs: Mix 1 part soap with 40 parts water

For heavier cleaning jobs: Mix half parts soap with half parts water or clean with the soap full strength alone

I didn't exactly measure how much soap I put in. I just poured about 2 caps full or so in and filled the rest of the bucket up with water. Also know, I cleaned everything first before mopping the bathroom floor. The stuff works and is a great green alternative to caustic cleaning products that are out on the market. I paid $10 for a 32 oz bottle and b/c you are almost always diluting it, it lasts you while.

You can do you laundry with it too! I can't wait to give it a try the next time I wash clothes.

I also use it in a mix to cleanse my scalp and hair with in place of shampoo and it cleanses really well and while it lathers up great, it doesn't dry my hair out. I luv it! I got the recipe from Traycee, the creator of KISS Network.

What You'll Need:
* 16oz Applicator bottle
* 2oz Dr. Bronners Magic Soap (liquid)
* 2oz Oil of choice (I like EVOO)
* Distilled or filtered water

Add the oil and soap to bottle first. Shake them up, fill the rest of the bottle up with water, shake again and it's ready to use. It will separate over time. This is natural. When you want to use it again, simply shake it up again and its ready to use!

And there's so much more you can do with this soap and be saving bucks in the long run. Check out their website for more uses with it. When my bottle runs out, I'm investing in the gallon size. No lie.
