Happy Friday!!

Hey people, ya girl's been sick! x/ But I'm back on track now. I'm about more than halfway done with my crochet braids. I'll be finishing up tomorrow and will have a post up about how to do them for anyone interested then also. I would do a vid but there are already vids on how to do them and I'll make sure to link them on the post. They're mad easy to do and last for about 6 to 8 weeks. I believe this will be my last set of them for a while though. With spring moving in, I'm going to switch over to cornrows with extensions. You know I gotta keep changin it up. Variety is the spice of life. ;-)

I really think that at times I have severe Hair ADHD. LOL. I can get bored really easily so I always have a style "Plan B" after a while. Like, I wore my hair out for 2 weeks, tried different treatments, tried different styling techniques, tried new products, etc... but I'm a hair style junkie and love being able to create a whole lotta different hairstyles. While I love my TWA, I can only do so much with it right now (and while I can do a puff, it's not very impressing to me right now), so I'm tucking it away again till the summer (with crochet braids now and cornrows with extensions right after I take out them out sometime in April) when it should be longer and I can do more stuff with it. Or I may keep it cornrowed most of the summer. Who knows. You never know with me...... But that's the beauty of our hair. We have sooo many options. So I'm utilizing mine till my hair gets longer to do some more of the stuff I want to do with it.

I've decided to stop using topical growth aids. It's not that they don't work for me. I've just grown very lazy and don't feel like being bothered with them anymore. Shame shame, I know, but I'm over it. Hahaha. So instead, I'm just going to take a prenatal vitamin daily. For me, it's easier to swallow a pill then to part my hair all over my head, apply growth oil, and then massage it all in. While, in essence, it's not a lot of time I just don't feel like doing it anymore.

Plus, my hair grows just fine without them. My hair grows the average 0.5in per month so my hair def doesn't grow slow. I think for a while I was just being a growth groupie. I wanted like 2in in a month. Not to say that it can't be done but I'm over trying to get it. I'll deal with my regular growth rate and the prenatal vitamins will help give it a boost. I used to take them in my early years of college to help my hair grow and received great results with them. Same results in a more efficient manner that better fits my lifestyle. I've decided to just leave my scalp alone and let it, "do it". As long as I keep it clean, it doesn't sass me.
