very very helpful! I bought the denman maybe 2 years ago now. used it once while I wa transitioning- FAIL. used it maybe twice since I was natural- FAIL. so i'll definitely be giving this a try...if I can find the brush! If not, I'll donate to my sister who is also in this natural journey with me but has type 3 hair :)

Wow! This makes so much sense. And to think, I've taken the brush apart to clean it, never thought about removing the bristles. Thanks!

I was about to push mine to the back of the cabinet, never to use again. Think I'll give this a try and see if I keep more hair on my head than in the brush. Thanks for the tip!!

After avoiding combs for a while out of fear, I decided to detangle my conditioner-soaked coils with a shower comb followed by my modified 'Denman'.

Needless to say, I am now over my fear of detangling. I really think the brush helped be get rid of shed hairs and cut down on tangles when I was twisting my hair. I'm hooked! Thanks for the video!
