September 2015 Theme & Editor's Note: Back to School

Annndddd, we're back! Mid-way through the month but, hey, we are back! Thank you so much for your kind words from the last post put up here. I identified what was causing my wrist pain and the corrective action needed and it is doing much better and will continue to heal and get better. I'm super happy about this because it was very frustrating, writing is my air! It's what I was born to do.

This month's theme is Back-to-School. Between last month and this month, millions all over the country are embarking on an education journey or continuing one. There's traditional education and there's non-traditional education. Back-to-School is all about, ultimately, never being done learning. I want to always be a student rather it's the school of life, sitting in a classroom or attending a conference or workshop. Watching Periscope videos where many scholars and successful business owners are sharing their knowledge for FREE is learning. You don't have to spend money to learn and sometimes it's money well spent when you do invest in yourself that way. Rather you spend a cent or not, I hope that you always stay hungry to learn and expand. Life is more exciting and meaningful with the more expansion and growth to higher heights. This is going to look different for each person but just please don't ever stop reaching and dreaming. Opportunities are right under your nose waiting to be discovered. Lately, I'm seeing for my very self that there's really nothing that any of us can't do if we have the desire and discipline to get out there, learn and act without fear.

This month's cover girl, Kat Stephens, is a reacher and her expansion is just getting warmed up. She is a grad student, teacher, (higher ed) admissions consultant and earned degrees from some of the nations most prestigious and expensive universities for total or majority full rides! She has a non-traditional educational journey that includes being out of school for about 10 years before continuing her quest for academic excellence! I can't wait for you to get to know her next Monday when her feature goes live. This month also features planner picks from Kat to help keep your life and/or school life organized and I'm sharing my inspire n fire you up book list that will get or keep you pumped and motivated to pursue your personal, academic, professional and life goals and dreams.

Thank you so much for your love and support, it NEVER goes unappreciated.

Stay naturally fly,
