October 2015 Editor's Note: Scorpio

It is October! I say it every time around this time of year: this year flew! October is my birth month so it's my mug on the cover and the theme is Scorpio. If you know anything about Scorpios, one of our characteristics include being very passionate individuals. We love life and living well in all aspects of life. This month includes featured topics about things that I am passionate about. Some long awaited posts, including the fertility awareness method and yoni smudging, will be going live this month because my zodiac sign, Scorpio's, planet is Pluto which is the ruler of the genitals and fertility.

My birthday is October 27th and I boldly share that I will be 32! I know, I know, I don't look 32 but alas, I am and I am leaning into 32 with pride and enthusiasm. 31 was such a beautiful age for me and very transformative; I learned so much personally, professionally and spiritually. I'm on an amazing journey. One of the featured posts for this month include 31 messages or concepts that I learned while being 31 titled 31 for 31. Some were new things and others were things I either re-learned or was reminded of again. I am very excited for 32 and what revelations, blessings and adventures will find me. I remember, as a teenager, thinking that a 32 year old was ancient and now approaching 32, I see that I've barely scraped the surface and am excited to know that I am nowhere near finished.

If you aren't following on our Instagram account then this will be your first time seeing that I chopped all my hair off! This was not only my birthday treat to myself but a liberating and reawakening experience. I believe that hair can hold energy and I wanted a reset so I cut all that energy loose and I feel feather light and free physically and metaphysically. I may not be quick to grow it back out! One of this month's featured posts also includes all the details on my cut including, where I got it done; my new regimen and what products and methods I'm using.

Scorpios often get a bad rep but we are not all calculating, jealous and possessive. There are many of us that use our "dark" powers for good and emit a love that gives freedom. If you don't know any of those, you can say you know one named Milan.
