Mixtress Chronicles: Shea Pudding!

I luuuuuuuuuuuv this creation! I've seriously been sleeping on shealoe. Where in the world have I been!?! This pudding is, basically, shealoe. For those of you who don't know what that is, shealoe is quite simply shea butter and aloe vera gel. I just jazzed mine up some.

I took my previously made shea frosting #2 and kept adding in aloe vera gel till the mixture looked like pudding. As always, I used no exact measurements. Just eye ball it till you get the desired consistency. I always advise with any mixes that you start off with small amounts when adding to anything b/c it's easier to add more than to have added too much right off the bat. I also added some tangerine essential oil to mine for a lovely citrusy scent. I may add some vanilla so that it will smell like an orange cream sicle. :D

What I Used:

  • Shea frosting #2 click here for the recipe I used for it
  • Aloe vera gel
  • Tangerine essential oil (10-20 drops)

This stuff is awesome. The aloe vera gel cuts down on the greasiness resulting from the oils and shea butter. It's great for slicking back edges for puffs and other hairstyles, twisting and braiding with, and styles where you want to set your hair like a rod set. I'm gonna try flat twisting with it. Hmm......
